YEARBOOK UPDATE ![]()
The 2010 Bulldog Yearbook is now on sale. By now, students should have recevied a notice in the mail from Jostens. Payment instructions are included in this letter. Any student who did not receive a letter should see Mrs. Anderson. Also, if students do not want to make a payment online, they may pay by cash or check at school. See Mrs. Anderson to make a payment. Cost of the yearbook is $50.00. It's hard to believe that the year is already half gone. So, we must start now doing whatever it takes to ensure that all students are successful. As parents, you can help your child so much by insisting that he/she is in school every day. If a doctor's appointment is necessary, please make it after 2:45. Then, be sure your child asks the teachers for make-up work. Students may make up all assignments during an absence, no matter what the reason is for their absence. Also, our superintendent, Mr. Dials, is paying a bus driver to drive an After school bus every Tuesday and Thursday, weather permitting. They have also hired three teachers to help your child after school on those days. Please take advantage of this opportunity by requiring your child to sign up early and stay for After School.
Last night representatives from three schools in our area met at the Mingo County Career Center with the members of the Board of Education. Travis Ward and Ali Dotson prepared the presentation, and Treavor Woolum, Ali Dotson, and Michelle Clark gave the presentation. They made all of us very proud by giving a fantastic presentation! They were complimented by the Board members, Mr. Dials, and others.
We will have our next Open House for parents next Thursday, February 11th, from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. I hope you will plan to come in and meet with your child's teachers.
If you would like to make an appointment to see one of your child's teachers, please call us at 304-475-2700.
