1st Annual Autism Awareness Walk

Registration Form

Autism Walk Flyer

1 in 110 children are diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder.  Seventy percent of those diagnosed are male.  In order to highlight the growing need for concern and awareness about autism, we are planning the First Annual Autism Awareness Walk on May 1, 2010 at the BHS football field.  In order for the project to be successful, we need you to volunteer you services and help spread the word.  Anyone interested in volunteering, please contact Mrs. Patricia Brown at 475-3347 ext. 41.

We are looking for individuals to sponsor our walkers and businesses to help sponsor the event.  With all money raised, we hope to reserve the Larry Joe Harless Community Center this summer for those individuals with Autism and other different abilities to have the time of their lives.  All additional funds will be donated to Autism Speaks.

Remember, everyone deserves to be heard.   Let's listen!
